My story

I didn’t start out behind the camera…I started in front of it. As an actor, I knew the pressure of the headshot process all too well: the financial investment, the stress, the anticipation…only to end up with photos that didn’t feel true to who I am. I’d look at my headshots and wonder, "Where did my personality go?  Why does this not feel like ME?" I saw the same thing happening to my fellow actors—images that didn’t capture the vibrant, dynamic, talented people I knew, sometimes made worse by unflattering angles, inauthentic styling, or poor lighting that aged them up or down in ways that didn’t serve their careers.

Driven by a desire to elevate the process, I began my training as a photographer, receiving my education through the University of Central Florida and the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies at Daytona State College, as well as my continued growth through industry workshops across the country.

I’ve also had the privilege to be mentored by top Los Angeles headshot photographer Vanie Poyey, whose style and insight have deeply influenced my own approach. Her work and invaluable industry advice are resources that I encourage all actors to explore. www.poyeyphotos.com

Along the way, I fell in love with the art of photography and developed a passion for creating staged narratives, the challenge of telling a story within a single image frame. My work has been honored in award-winning exhibitions and displayed in galleries both nationally and internationally, to include the Sharjah Art Foundation (Sharjah, United Arab Emirates), Loosen Art at Millepiani (Rome, Italy), CityArts (Orlando, Florida), and the Southeast Museum of Photography (Daytona Beach, Florida).

I bring my seasoned perspective as an actor, photographer, and artist to my work, creating a headshot experience that is nurturing, collaborative, creative, and even fun! I strive to help actors walk away with compelling images that feel authentic, engaging, and career-elevating…a style of headshots that stand out and get you remembered.
